FabFitFun Subscription Review
I love shopping!
The joy and excitement when you see a package sitting in front of your door, with your name written on it. Even though you know exactly what it is inside, your heart is still jumping, eager to open the package.
A couple of months ago, I had one of the worst depression episodes. After I calmed down a little bit (or after Kyle calmed me down a little bit), I decided to cheer myself up even more and had a little bit of shopping online. Because well... shopping gives me joy. :p
I thought it would be fun to have a subscription box. Kyle has one. And I see how excited he is to open the box every month. So I thought, why don't I get one for myself?
I looked around for a little bit. A lot of the subscription boxes for women are makeup, which I don't really understand much about. I mean, I like them. But not necessarily up to the point where I need new ones every month. Or maybe I should? :p
Then I came across FabFitFun. Which is like a little bit of everything -- makeup, health, fitness, fashion lifestyle. So I hit that subscribe button.
I was soooooooooo excited about it that I kept on checking it everyday. Oops!
And came my first box. Winter 2016. It had Anderson Lilley body butter, O.R.G mineral peel face, D.L. & Co Blackberry nectar candle (which smells amaaaaaazing by the way), Butter London mascara (perfect! Cause I was about to run out :p), Gorjana necklace (which I do wear a lotttttt!!), a Moleskin planner, a box of thank you cards (which we can always use), a star pin (which they've partnered with Starlight Children Foundation to raise awareness)
And my second box! Spring 2017.
It seems very beachy. :) First thing in the box is a Gypsy beach roundie, Dr. Brandt microdermabrasion, MILLY zip pouch (which is waterproof and amazing for traveling!), Emerald Duv "Joshua Tree" Cage Bracelet (which looks sooooo cute, and I can't wait to wear it), Deborah Lippmann nail polish set, Briogeo Rosarco Milk leave-in conditioner spray (my hair totally needs this), Karuna serum-infused face mask (which is another one that I'm excited to use), Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails gummies, Realher lip set (LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it! Especially the little message on each of their product) and I added The Five-Minute Journal onto my box (again, can't wait to use this journal! :)).
I do have to say, my favorite thing in the Spring box is the Realher lip set. When I opened the box, I cried. Maybe I overreacted, but for someone who is struggling with self-confidence like me, these little messages mean everything!
So as you can tell by now, I am pretty happy with all my boxes so far, and I am pretty impressed with all the things included in that box. My only complain is that it only comes every 3 months. I can't really contain my curiosity and excitement for that long. :p
Just in case you've been debating whether or not to subscribe to FabFitFun, I would say DO IT! I think it's totally worth it.
Now... What other subscription box(es) should I get? :p
